Touchlight’s Commitment to Biosecurity
Touchlight recognises and supports the need for diligent and harmonised standards in the life sciences sector to promote and strengthen biosecurity.
As a member of the International Gene Synthesis Consortium (“IGSC”) Touchlight adheres to the IGSC’s Harmonized Screening Protocol to prevent the misuse of synthetic DNA. In accordance with such, Touchlight has in place measures to screen the sequences of DNA ordered by its customers, with a view to identifying certain specified sequences of concern, alongside verifying the identity and credentials of parties seeking to order DNA.
